KLCCP Stapled Group's Integrated Annual Report for 2021 was honoured with the Silver Award at the renowned Australasian Reporting Awards (ARA Award) 2023, solidifying its well-deserved recognition and standing as a leading industry participant. This marked a leap forward from the Bronze Award received for the past three consecutive years.

This award has affirmed the commitment of KLCCP Stapled Group in providing quality coverage of most aspects of the ARA Criteria, providing effective disclosure of material sustainability topics relevant to the organisation, and explaining pertinent legislative and regulatory requirements and how they are addressed.

The criteria benchmarked by ARA include an open willing attitude, attention to detail and accuracy, a sensitivity and responsiveness to stakeholders, a willingness to put in the effort to communicate effectively and a commitment to achieving and improving upon standards.

This year, the award ceremony was held at Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney on 15 June 2023. ARA Awards 2023 is an annual event organised by the Australasian Reporting Awards Limited, an independent not-for-profit organisation run by volunteer professionals from the business, government, and not-for-profit sectors, with the support of organisations concerned with the quality of financial and business reporting.

The ARA Awards recognises reports that provide a balanced and realistic picture of their economic, environmental, and social performances; facilitate comparability and benchmarking, an assessment of financial performance; and address issues of concern to the organisation's stakeholders.

The Awards allow all organisations to benchmark against the ARA Awards criteria based on world's best practices covering New Zealand, Australia, and the Asia Pacific region. Other winning organisations in the ARA Awards 2023 who bagged the Silver Award include Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS), Sunway Construction Group Berhad, and Top Glove Corporation Berhad.
